5/15: NSD’s application cycle for 2013 is now completed and our deadline was last Wednesday. No new applications will be accepted. If you have already applied and have not yet received an acceptance letter, you will be informed of your admissions status within a week or so. We’d like to thank everyone who applied this year. 4/17: In addition to the first years and senior staff listed below, we are proud to announce that NSD veterans Jenn Miller Melin, Nikhil Nag, and Grant Weisberg are returning to Colorado Springs this summer. Terrence Lonam and Charles McClung will join us for their first summer on staff.
The May 8 deadline is three weeks away; we encourage you to submit your applications as soon as possible; no late applications will be accepted.

2/20: NSD is pleased to announce that Daniel Moerner and Marshall Thompson will be joining us this summer.
Daniel was top speaker and semifinalist at the 2008 Tournament of Champions and then a finalist in 2009. He also won Berkeley, VBT, and Valley. Daniel will graduate from Pomona this year and study philosophy at Cambridge next fall.
Marshall debated for four years and captained at Walt Whitman High School his senior year. He experienced success both nationally and locally winning such tournaments as the Greenhill and Bronx Invitational as well as the MBA round robin in conjunction with numerous other titles and late out round appearances. He has coached debate while enrolled in Wheaton College as a philosophy major and has worked with, Harvard Westlake, Glenbrooks South, Torrey Pines and Walt Whitman.
