We promised that NSD Breezy would be introducing some fresh/fun content and one of those new things starts today.
Introducing: Unsung Hero, a series featuring weekly posts about Authors/Literature that is very uncommon/unknown but very useful in debate. This would include authors that take a great spin on some known concepts but are unknown AND authors that are slightly known but have underground works that aren’t commonly heard of. These authors are from a variety of backgrounds and literature bases.
Today’s Unsung Hero is actually a group of authors within Hegelian thought. These group of people are a revival of Hegel and radical politics, a serious reflection of Hegel’s scholarship from a left-wing militant perspective.
Here are some books to take a look at if you’re interested!
Todd McGowan – Emancipation After Hegel: achieving a contradictory revolution (A book about Hegel’s theory of contradiction. It emphasizes the contradiction in Hegel’s thought and de-emphasizes the reconciliation part).
Rebecca Comay – The Dash (also check out: Mourning Sickness).
Adrian Johnston – A New German Idealism
CHECK US OUT NEXT WEEK FOR THE NEXT UNSUNG HERO!
